Statutory Positions Training

This course is for those appointed in Statutory Positions in the WA mining industry. It includes the approved risk management units required for those in Statutory Positions by DMIRS and aligns to Schedule 26 of the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.

Overview

Mine operators have a duty to establish and implement a mine safety management system (r.621) and include the management and supervisory structure for WHS at the mine (r.622).

  • Communication, consultation and issues resolution
  • Incident reporting
  • Risk management (identification, assessment, control and review)
